2878536 - saphostctrl check with TASK=REPLICATION_STATUS returns "Replication not configured" - SAP ASE for BS

Symptom

  • You are doing a setup of ASE with HA setup on Windows platform.
  • As per ASE HADR documentation, you are trying to check ASE replication status using following saphostctrl command but its failing with error.  

saphostctrl -user sapadm <password> -function LiveDatabaseUpdate -dbname <SID> -dbtype syb -updatemethod Check -updateoption TASK=REPLICATION_STATUS

Error: Command execution failed. : Replication not configured: No logical repserver name found. (fault code: 127)
Operation ID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
