2879583 - Incorrect employee contribution calculation for Insurance premium using rate applicable for Group

Symptom

When an employee enrolls dependents into Insurance plan and select one dependent, the rate is determined correctly. When add two dependent types, the rate increase to double.

Environment

  • Global Benefits 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Employee Profile
  2. Select Benefits section
  3. Enroll dependents (one spouse, one child) into Insurance Plan
  4. System performs incorrect calculation

Cause

The group is applicable for dependent type. If multiple dependent types are added into benefit system will sum up.

Resolution

Rate applicable for Group is applicable for each Dependent Type. It means if you add more than one dependent of same type it will not sum up.
