2879597 - Missing Calendar icon on Date parameter prompt in Crystal Reports

Symptom

  • report of SQL Server returns incorrect data
  • SQL Server date fields not mapped properly when Set Datasource Location to a different ODBC driver
  • date parameter prompt does not have Calendar icon on it

Environment

  • SAP Crystal Reports 2013
  • SAP Crystal Reports 2016
  • SQL Server database

Cause

Incorrect "SQL Server" ODBC driver driver used. The driver is not supported by the vendor, see:

Resolution

Use supported ODBC Driver like DataDirect ODBC driver or "SQL Native Client 11.0" driver. See Supported Platform documentation.
