2879693 - Changing Data Access Control by manipulating hierarchy has no effect when multiple hierarchies are maintained for a dimension in SAP Analytics Cloud

When Data Access Control is maintained for a dimension with multiple hierarchies, only the first hierarchy's parent-child relationship applied is in effect for Data Access Control.

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Go to the dimension screen by selecting from public dimensions or inside a model of interest.
2. Add multiple parent-child hierarchies in a dimension with Data Access Control.
3. Maintain different parent-child relationships on different hierarchies.
4. Only the first set of relationships is in effect.

This is currently by design of the system due to technical limitations.

User can build a hierarchy only for Data Access Control purpose, and then add different hierarchies based on business requirements.
