Scheduled Purge Jobs are not creating a Preview Report

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Go to Data Retention Management
2. Create New Purge Request (Any purge)
3. Create the purge as required
4. Add the approver
5. Click on Schedule and create required schedule;
6. The approval receives the email and can see the purge under Requests Pending Initial Approver
7. Note that there is no preview report
8. If you run the purge manually (run immediately) - you will receive a preview report.

This is working as per the system design

Before generating a preview report for each purge, the approver must first authorize the criteria and schedule of the upcoming purge request.

1. Approver goes to Admin Center > Purge Request Monitor.
2. Locate the purge request that needs approval in the Request Pending Initial Approval tab.
3. Expand the Criteria section to review the purge request setup.
4. Click View Schedule to review when the purge request is set to recur.
5. Choose the option "Require final approval for each occurrence" to generate a preview report for each occurrence.
6. The creator and specified approvers receive an email notification when preview report for each occurrence is ready and the purge request is pending final approval.
