Scheduled Purge Jobs are not creating a Preview Report

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

1. Go to Data Retention Management
2. Create New Purge Request (Any purge)
3. Create your purge as required
4. Add your approver
5. Click on Schedule
6. Create your required schedule;
7. You will see the purge on Requests Pending Preview Report, the approver needs to approve the preview file generation;
8. Note when they click on approve there is an option "Generate Preview Report for the whole series."
9. Select this option
10. Let the purge run as scheduled
11. You will not receive a Preview report
12. If you run the purge manually (run immediately) - you will receive a preview report.

Currently it is the expected behavior, though we are working to fix the issue on the upcoming release.

If you wish to review the Preview report for each occurrence and approve the purge before it runs, you must NOT select the option "Generate Preview Report for the whole series." 

To be able to approve each purge, follow the steps below:

1. When approving the Preview file generation do NOT select the option "Generate Preview Report for the whole series."
• By not selecting this option - initially the job is not scheduled/triggered as the Preview report must be reviewed by the approver to confirm if the purge should still proceed.
• The approver will receive an email to review the Preview Report and approve or decline.
2. If approved at this point, the scheduled job will then run the purge.
3. Then each scheduled date/time after this the approver will receive an email to review the Preview report and approve or decline the purge.
4. If the approver does not approve this each time for the scheduled purge - the purge will not run.
