This Knowledge Base Article will help you on how to assign a User Subscription/License Type to a Business User in SAP Cloud for Customer.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer.
Reproducing the Issue
In SAP Cloud for Customer solution, Business Users are shown as Counted Users; however, User Subscription/License Type is not maintained/updated.
Cause
There is no auto-update mechanism for User Subscription/License Type of a business user.
Resolution
In C4C, customers have to manually assign the User Subscription to a Business User in the Business User view of the Administrator work center.
- Log into SAP Cloud for Customer.
- Go to the Administrator work center.
- Click Business Users.
- Select the relevant user and click Edit > User Subscriptions
- Click Add at the top-right corner.
- Select User Type and Subscription Type
- Click Add, then Save
Note:
Only active Business Users from the production system will consume the License Type in C4C and will be considered for the Billing Cycle.
The Counted User checkbox provides a reference to know the overview of License Type assignments and the Active Users in the production system.
Adding User Subscription for a user will reflect these details in the User Subscription view in the Service Control Center work center, in which you will be able to see the License Types, Traffic Signals about the License Type usages, and users assigned to a License Types.
