2880501 - CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists when creating JCo destination

Symptom

Having previously deleted a JCo destination and when creating a new JCo destination with the same name in Web Dynpro Content Administrator (type ARFC1) you get error:

Exception while creating JCo client connection Failed to create new JCO client connection <destination_name>

example error in the default trace:

Failed to create new JCO client connection SAP_R3_HumanResources
[EXCEPTION]
