Symptom
How can we report on a list of Inactive users assigned to RBP Roles and Groups?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
Resolution
You can report on Inactive Users assigned to RBP Roles/Groups by creating a Cross Domain AdHoc/Report-Table report between the RBP domain and the Employee Profile domain. You can use the Status field from Employee Profile to filter on Inactive users. Please also ensure that in the People tab for EP that the 'include Inactive users' checkbox is selected.
For example:
- Create new Report-Table/Ad Hoc and select Cross Domain
- Select domain Employee Profile and then Add Domain RBP User to Group
- In the People tab ensure that the 'Include Inactive users' checkbox is selected.
- Add needed fields in the Columns tab.
- In the Filters tab, add a filter for Status='Inactive user', from the Employee Profile domain
- In the Relationships tab ensure the correct field joins are selected, i.e. User Sys ID=User Sys ID. Select Left Outer Join if you would like to see results regardless of whether is a match in the RBP table. If you add a Filter for Inactive and the result is blank for the RBP fields, then it means there are no Inactive users assigned to Roles/Groups.
