Environment

  • S/4HANA OnPremise S/4HANA OP2021 and above version with Business Function /SHCM/EE_BP_1 active

Note: After upgrade into S/4 HANA version 2020, the new function /SHCM/EE_BP_1 is defaulted into status OFF. The new BF is recommended to use, but it is not mandatory.

Once the function /SHCM/EE_BP_1 active with the activation status ON via SFW5 by customer manually with customer own business requirement, the switch /SHCM/EE_BP_1 is irreversible and not reversible. You cannot revert it any more. Irreversible Business Function shows 'Business func. will remain activated'. The reason is because de-activation will lead to data loss, which is not supported by SAP. Please also refer to KBA 2515814 - - Deactivate Business Functions in SFW5.

Anything system architect design change without consider the current go live existing master data migration and relevant configurations, the all risk are belonged to customer own.
Please contact customer own local consultant or SAP local consultant to help re-design system architect, before active BF /SHCM/EE_BP_1  in a go-live S/4 HANA system, instead of randomly active the BF in a go live system.
