2882445 - Report not available in Excel Add-In

Symptom

You search for a report ABC (ABC stands for the name of the report).

Environment

  • SAP Business ByDesign
  • SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the Excel Add-In.
  2. Click Insert Report.
  3. Search for the report ABC (ABC stands for the name of the report).

You notice that the report is not available however this report is available in the UI under Business Analytics work center, Design Report view.

Cause

The report is assigned to a mobile work center view instead of the browser view.

Resolution

The report must be assigned to browser work center view to be available in the Excel Add-In.
