Symptom
A SCORM course developed using Rise 360 is not being marked as completed in the LMS when the user reaches the end of the course.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Learning
Cause
The content object is being launched using an index.html file that does not start the communication with the LMS database.
Resolution
One possible solution was shared in the Articulate Community that is to edit the Content Object to launch the content using the indexAPI.html file.
The Content Object filename must point to a different folder inside the content:
Previous filename: /scormcontent/index.html
New filename: /scormdriver/indexAPI.html
To modify the Content Object:
- In Learning Administration, go to Content > Content Objects
- Search for the Content Object associated to the item where the issue is happening.
- Go to the "Launch Method" tab.
- Edit the "Filename" field to point the content object to /scormdriver/indexAPI.html
Important: courses not being marked as completed in the LMS have different root causes. If the above solution does not work, there are other settings that can be reviewed. KBA 2316953 contains possible causes and resolution steps for different scenarios. If the content is not sending the correct lesson status to the LMS, a content developer must be contacted to review the content files. |
