Customizing or removing the mandatory fields in Recruiting Posting is not an option.

Certain fields like first name, last name, or phone number are mandatory in Recruiting Posting for job poster identification. However, these fields are consistently pre-filled with Recruiting Posting information and are seldom transmitted to various job boards.

Certain fields like reference, title, and location are obligatory for every job requisition, as required by most job boards.

Furthermore, if you choose a specific job board for posting, and that board requires a certain field, then that particular field becomes mandatory for the entire posting.

As an illustration, the salary is not inherently mandatory for Recruiting Posting. However, if you select a job board where salary is a required field, you'll observe that this specific field becomes mandatory when entering information for that particular job.

To prevent posting errors due to missing information, it's not possible to eliminate mandatory fields.

Note: In Field Completion when you select a Job Requisition Template, fields marked with an asterisk (*) follow rules that may not universally apply to all job boards but have an impact on at least one that is listed.
