2882762 - Disruption, Degradation and Outage Information for SAP Datasphere

Symptom

SAP Datasphere tenant is down/unavailable, not reachable or not accessible. 

SAP Datasphere's services are not reachable or working properly.

Some examples:

  • Error message "Sorry, the storage data couldn't be loaded" when opening "Space Management"
  • We've encountered an unexpected issue
  • It looks like you haven't been assigned to any spaces
  • Service Unavailable: No server is available to handle request or the application is temporarily down for maintenance. Excuse us for the inconvenience
  • Session Ended
  • You have been logged out from another tab. Log on to start a new session or close this tab
  • 404 Not Found: Requested route ('<Datasphere Tenant URL>') does not exist

Environment

SAP Datasphere

Resolution

Degradation

Reduced or limited availability of SAP Datasphere services and features. 
This could manifest as poor performance causing delays in business operations, intermittent interruptions, or the unavailability of non-essential functionalities that affect the user experience but do not completely halt overall functionality.

Disruption

The SAP Datasphere tenant or its HANA Cloud instance is down, inaccessible, unavailable, or experiencing very poor performance, causing severe delays and preventing users from performing business operations.

Before raising a support ticket, check the status of the cloud services in the following options:

SAP for Me

  1. Navigate to Systems & Provisioning → Availability
  2. Search your tenant under "Availability Status" by filtering "Cloud Service" as "SAP Datasphere"
  3. Check the availability of your SAP Datasphere tenants


  4. Check the events from SAP Datasphere tenants


Cloud Services Status

  1. Open Cloud Services Status
  2. In "Cloud Service Status", search by "Datasphere"
  3. Click on "SAP Datasphere" in the "Data and Analytics" card


  4. Search and select your tenat's region, e.g. "Netherlands: Amsterdam" = EU20 


Tenant Messaging

SAP Datasphere DevOps team may also trigger notifications to raise awareness of users directly in Datasphere's UI.
For example: 



Maintenance Windows and Major Upgrade Windows

For planned events, check the SAP Datasphere maintenance and major upgrade windows for latest info.

For SAP Datasphere not only its own Maintenance Windows are relevant but in addition to Maintenance Windows of underlying SAP HANA Cloud and SAP Data Intelligence.
Therefore the below should also be considered:
