2883466 - How to change the description of Storage Location

Symptom

Need to change the description of an already existing Storage Location.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

*Only valid for Manage Your Solution.
*Not valid for Customer with Central Business Configuration.

Cause

 It is not possible to change the description of Storage Location on SSCUI 100066 "Organizational Structure".

Resolution

It is possible to rename/edit the descriptions of Storage Location using SSCUI 100132 "Storage Location-configure".

  1. Under Manage Your Solution -> Configure Your solution;
  2. Search for the SSCUI 100132;
  3. Click Configure;
  4. Choose the correspondent storage location;
  5. Click in edit button;
  6. Change the description as desired;
  7. Click save.

Please note:  Once the initial activation has been started there is no possibility of changing the ID, as the ID is used as keys in the configuration tables.
