2884138 - Customization options of the no results message - Recruiting Marketing

When a job search is performed on an RMK page and there are no jobs matching the criteria populated, the system will display the message :

Search results for "search term"
"There are currently no open positions matching <search term>.
The <number of jobs configured> most recent jobs posted by <Company Name> are listed below for your convenience."

On a category page which contains no jobs the message will be slightly different:

<CategoryName>
There are currently no open positions matching this category or location.
Receive emails by subscribing to jobs matching <CategoryName> when they are posted.
The <number of jobs configured> most recent jobs posted by <companyname> are listed below for your convenience.

What customizations are possible for these no results messages in CSB?

Apart from the customizations on the number of results which can be done in Appearance/Search results (0 will disable the feature), the text displayed can be customized via the Translations tool in CSB.

The font used is the one configured for the site under Appearance / Global / Site.
As to the styling of the messages, the options are different depending if the message is returned on the search or on a category page.

Search message:
The text colour for the first line comes from the color that has been set in Global Styles/ Main / Content Header in CSB.

Category page message:
There is currently no way to change the text colour or background colour of the “No Results” message section for Category pages.
The only element that can be changed is the text colour for the category name and the middle message “Receive emails by subscribing...” as this comes from the color that has been set in Global Styles/ Main / Content Header in CSB.

Note it is not possible to change the location of the message on the page via configuration.

Also, it is not possible to change the background color (theme) of the "Watch jobs in this category" section that will be displayed under search fields.

Providing further customizations options would constitute an enhancement request. See process KBA in see also section.

Note customers might be able to apply customizations via custom plugins but we cannot advise on the code nor do we support such customizations.
