2884839 - Error in Fixed Assets - Period control configuration setting missing for period control key

You get error message while opening a Fixed Asset.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Fixed Assets work center.
2. Go to the Fixed Assets view.
3. Find Fixed Asset with error.

Errors:

Period control configuration setting missing for period control key 'ABC' for the fiscal year variant of valuation view DEF of set of books GHI.

ABC references to one of the system Control Keys.

DEF references to the Valuation View ID.

GHI references to the Set of Books.

The Set of Books GHI has a Customized Fiscal Year Variant and there is missing configurations for Fixed Assets.

To correct this error, maintain the configuration for this with below steps:

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Go to the Overview view.
3. Find Other Fiscal Year activity.
4. Select Other Fiscal Year activity.
5. Click Open.
6. Select the relevant Fiscal Year Variant.
7. Go to the Period Control for Fixed Assets.
8. Click Add Row.
9. Maintain configuration for the Period Control Key in the error message.
10. Click Save.

This error will no longer occur for this Period Control Key.
