Post B2305: Customer can create a job request, for supported job types, on the Job Scheduler tab in Scheduled Job Manager. 

Important: While you can monitor most jobs in Scheduled Job Manager, certain types like the Live Profile Import/Export must be created and scheduled in Provisioning. Once scheduled, they will appear in Job Monitor and Job Scheduler for viewing. To see a complete list of job types you can create directly, navigate to Job Scheduler, click Create Job Request, and review the options in the Job Type dropdown menu.

Before B2305: As a customer, you do not have access to Provisioning. To set this job up please contact your implementation partner. If you are no longer working with one, reach out to SAP Product Support.

1. In Provisioning, search for Manage Scheduled Jobs
2. Click on "Create New Job"
3. Set the Job Type "Live Profile Export"
4. Set Job Parameters as:

• Personal / Background / Trend Information
• Set up the 'Locale'
• Select the 'Character Encoding'
• Select if you want to 'Export Extended Data Only' or 'Export Extended Data with User Attributes" (which contains additional data for users that makes the file more readable, but is applicable only for Trend Information)
• Select if you want to unzip the export file if it is zipped.

Personal Information:

• If you put .zip in the File Name and you select Unzip export file if it is zipped, the export file will ALWAYS be zipped. So regardless of the selection, File Name format will always override.
• Recommended to use .csv or .zip if you want the file to be zipped.
  • If you use .zip, the name in the File Name field will be used but the file inside will be named PersonalInfoData_[Company ID].csv.

• We recommend that you use the SF hosted server (SFTP) for better performance.

Background Information:

  • If you use .zip, the name in the File Name field will be used but the file inside will be named [Company ID]BackgroundData_[Company ID].csv.
• We recommend that you use the SF hosted server (SFTP) for better performance.

Background Information (Include Attachment):

• Because of large data volume, currently we don't support file encryption when exporting background information with attachments. Please select None in File Encryption if you’re allowed to access the unencrypted files.
• If you want to encrypt the export files for background information, uncheck the "Include Attachment" option.
• Because of large data volume, the export file will be zipped even if you choose the Unzip export file if it is zipped checkbox.
• Regardless of the File Name and extension, the export file will always be named [Company ID]_BackgroundDataWithAttachments[File Number].zip.
• We recommend that you use the SF hosted server (SFTP) for better performance.

Trend Information:

• If you put .zip in the File Name and you select Unzip export file if it is zipped, the export file will ALWAYS be zipped. So regardless of the selection, File Name format will always override.
• Recommended to use .csv or .zip if you want the file to be zipped.
  • If you use .zip, the name in the File Name field will be used but the file inside will be named TrendData_[Company ID].csv.

• We recommend that you use the SF hosted server (SFTP) for better performance.
