2884877 - sp_companion failure-sybha leaves root owned tmpfile preventing configuration of HA - ASE

Symptom

  • Configuring HA on AIX platform
  • Running sp_companion more than once in same isql session
  • Receive following error when trace 3604 and 2205 set

    Running ha_ibm_ossyscmd, with cmd =(/usr/bin/odmget -q"value=SCLMSY06 and name=APPLICATIONS" HACMPresource | /usr/bin/grep "group =" > /tmp/sybtmp_14 2>&1)

    ASE errorlog logs the following:

    server HA Config Warning: Unable to remove file /tmp/sybtmp_14.
