2884911 - Candidate Profile Extension Error when accessing or creating new record - Recruiting Management

An application error occurs when trying to create a Candidate Profile Extension.

The user is missing the Metadata Framework permission: "Access to non-secured objects".

As per the Q4 b1911 release, as explained in KBA 2863006 - Q4 1911 Release - MDF and Business Rules related features., it is no longer possible access the MDF objects that are not secured if you don't have permission to. Previously, in some cases, the user could access non-secured objects even if you didn't have the necessary permissions assigned to the user in question.

To fix the application error it's received when it's tried to create the Candidate Profile Extension for a candidate, there are two options:

1. Grant the permission under Metadata Framework, "Access to non-secured objects";
2. OR, you can revert the system to the previous behavior, where you can access non-secured objects. Please refer to the KBA 2863006 - Q4 1911 Release - MDF and Business Rules related features. where you can find the steps on how to do this.
