2885109 - Transaction ST02 takes a long time to open

Symptom

  • Transaction ST02 takes a few minutes to open. 
  • ST02 might open immediately and work as normal on one instance, but have a long delay on another instance (depending on settings and workload).
  • In SM50 / SM66 you can see the delay occurs in program SAPLSDNT
    • First you will see the WP running program SAPLSDNT with action "Direct Read of DB" on DDNTT

    • Then you will just see SAPLSDNT running for a number of minutes
