2885453 - RBP issue or blank result running a report with Global Assignment Details information - Advanced Reporting

Symptom

  • An user receives the error message "Role based security prevents the viewing of this component" trying to run a report with Global Assignment Details columns in Advanced Reporting
  • Even though the user has permission to the fields e.g. Start Date, Assignment Type, etc (from Employee Data > Global Assignment Details section), he still faces the RBP issue running the report
  • The columns from Global Assignment Details table are blank running the report

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Cause

In order to see the Global Assignment Details data in Advanced Reporting the user must have permission also for Global Assignment Details under Employee Data > HR Information.

Resolution

 Grant the user permission to Global Assignment Details in RBP under Employee Data > HR Information.
