2885721 - Incorrect Field Names in Data Workbench Import Template

After a tenant copy, extension field column names are not correctly represented in a Data Workbench import template in the target system. The template in the target system is different to the one in the source system.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Open the target system
2. Go to Data Workbench
3. Go to the Import view
4. Search for the related Object
5. Select and Download the CSV Template
6. Open the zip file and open the FieldDef file for the related Object
7. Find Header, Property and/or UI Field Name different to those in the source system template

After a tenant copy, the UI text keys for the extension fields in the related OData service need to be updated in the target system

In such a case, open an SAP case and request to update the UI text keys in the backend. In this case, confirm that a tenant copy happened from the production tenant and that the contents were not only transferred.
Provide the permission to perform an update of the UI text keys. SAP Product Support will then solve the issue by running a report in the backend.
