2885786 - Internet Explorer WrongDocumentError encountered using Fiori Launchpad on Portal (FLP@EP)

Symptom

  • You are using the Fiori Launchpad on Enterprise Portal, and observe certain application functionality does not Work in Internet Explorer web browser such as:
    • Data not loading
    • Data not refreshed
    • Data not updating
  • The problem has been noticed using the My Inbox application while using Remote Content Consumption 
  • Checking the browser Console tab, the following error (or similar) is displayed:
    "SCRIPT5022: WrongDocumentError
    datajs-dbg.js (1637,5)"
