2886605 - Opening date functionality in SRM RFx document explained

Symptom

Maintaining the correct entry in the Opening Date section in an SRM RFx document, or leaving it empty, affects the following two different behavior in the bidding process:

  1. If the opening date section is maintained, and the purchaser user tries to open any of the submitted RFx Response documents before this date and time, the system displays an error message:
    Opening date for RFx response is not yet reached; you cannot open it (PDO_QTE 032)

  2. If this field is left empty, the RFx Responses can be opened by the purchaser user right after they were submitted by the bidder users.
