2886796 - DCOM error in Event Viewer when schedule a task for Publication/Distribution with EPM plugin in Analysis Office 2.7

Symptom

  • Error "The server {XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX} did not register with DCOM within the required timeout" in Event Viewer when a task for Publication/Distribution is scheduled with EPM Plug-in in Analysis Office 2.7  on Windows 10 client machines.
  • The issue is not resolved after configuring the steps from NOTE 2642083 - ALL:Task scheduler for Publication/Distribution is not working
  • This issue does not occur in EPM add-in SP36.
