2886800 - How to Restrict Start Adaption for an Admin Role or User

You have a need to restrict tne "Start Adaptation" funcionality for a business user or business role. However, this user or role needs to retain administration rights.

In order to restrict the Start Adaptation functionality for the desired user or business role, you need to remove the "Flexibility Change Log" assignment.

1. Go to Administrator.
2. Select General Settings.
3. Under User section, select Business Users or Business Roles.
4. Access the relevant user or business role.
5. Navigate to the Work Center and View Assignments tab
6. Under the Administrator work center, deselect Flexibility Change Log. 

The dependent assignments will also be removed (system will show the dependent views after "Flexibility Change Log" get removed).

PS: In case system does not show the standard warning "The following views are required for the view you want to remove. If you click OK, the system also removes these views from the user", please manually remove the following views from system for Administrator and also for Application and User Management:

• Flexibility Change Log.
• Form Template Maintenance.
• Mashup Authoring.
• Mashup Web Services.
• Master Template Maintenance.
• Microsoft Office® Template Maintenance.
