  • Fault Manager (FM) not displaying correct status:

    node 1: server <servername1>, site Site1.
    db host status: UNKNOWN.
    db status UNKNOWN hadr status UNKNOWN.
    node 2: server <servername2>, site Site2.
    db host status: UNKNOWN.
    db status UNKNOWN hadr status UNKNOWN.
    replication status: UNKNOWN.
    failover prerequisites fulfilled: NO.
    SYBDBFM_SANITY_STATUS_END

  • Fault Manager (FM) error log shows: 
    • ERROR in function SQLConnectWithRetry (1547) (SQLConnectWithRetry failed): (4002) [ZZZZZ] [SAP][ASE ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Login failed.
    • ERROR in function SQLConnectWithRetry (1547) (SQLConnectWithRetry failed): (16165) [ZZZZZ] [SAP][ASE ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Enterprise]Cannot receive encrypted symmetric key from client.
    • Connection failed using DRIVER={Adaptive Server Enterprise};server=<servername>;port=4901;uid=sapsa;pwd=xxxxxxxxxx;EncryptPassword=1;logintimeout=3;CommandTimeOut=3;;EnableRedirection=0;
    • call exited (exit code -1).
    • connect via odbc to ASE database server failed.
