2886994 - Reverse button greyed out in the App Manage Journal Entries

When accessing the App Manage Journal Entries and selecting the documents, the Reverse Button is greyed out. It's not possible to reverse journal entries.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the App Manage Journal Entries
2. Select the Documents
3. Reverse button is inactive, greyed out.

Only journal entries created directly within Financial Accounting can be reversed. You cannot reverse journal entries with source documents (such as goods issues or customer invoices) since these originate outside of Financial Accounting. If you select a mixture of entries with and without a source document, only the entries without a source document are reversed.

The Reverse button is grayed out if you select only entries with a source document.

In Manage Journal Entries, we defined a allow list for which documents can be reversed in our app, one condition is ref. document type:

Ref. Document Type
BKPF	Accounting document
BKPFF	Actg doc.direct inpt
IBKPF	Document from IDoc
FEBEP	Acct statement item
GLYEC	Year-End Closing Doc
ACES4	S/4 Accrual Engine

If the customer has different Ref. Document Type, the button will be greyed out.

The system is working as designed.
