2887056 - Error "OData Service to GetToDoPanelInitializer Failed" Thrown When Accessing SF instance

When trying to access Admin Center, Home page or performing a search through the top search bar, you receive the error:

"OData Service getTodoPanelInitializer Failed, Error Status: error, errorThrown: Internal Server Error"

1. Log into SuccessFactors tenant
2. Try to access the homepage
3. Perform a search through the top search bar or, 
4. Navigate to Admin Center

This issue occurs when the OData API metadata is outdated which can be caused due configuration changes or new SF Releases

1. Please clear the cache from the browser you are opening SuccessFactors on:

2. Perform the OData API Metadata Refresh as per the below KBA, close your browser and rerun the process - the error will be eliminated:

3. Run an MDF Object Definition to DB Sync job in Admin Center > Scheduled Job Manager or in provisioning and sync the database with the object definitions:
