2887182 - Changed Description of Industries has no Effect in the System

Changed description of Industries has no effect in the system.

1. Business Configuration workcenter
2. Overview and for the configuration element General Business Partners choose "Change Immediately
3. Then select Maintain Industries

One of the changed description sample:

Old Value : Environmental

New Value: Wastewater Disposal / Abwasserentsorgung

When you check an Account with this value in English log-in, it still displays the old description Environmental and correctly in German log-in.

Industry:

English log-in : Environmental

German log-in : Wastewater Disposal / Abwasserentsorgung

If you check the activity value through Implementation Project, data shows old value:

1. Go to Business Configuration workcenter
2. Implementation Projects view
3. Open Activity List
4. Select General Business Partners Activity
5. Maintain Industries - Environmental
   
   

Here the customer has defined in the language adaption Customers, that the Target Text for the Industrial Sector Code in English should be Environmental.

And even if the text is changed in Business Configuration, the Language Adaption is leading (over the Business Configuration) and the language adaption is not considered within the Business Configuration maintenance.
