2887208 - BW Content activation for SAP References fails in SAP Solution Manager 7.2

Symptom

  •  Execute the BW Content for SAP references fails with following:

    "BW Content not activated"

  • CCMS_BI_SETUP fails with the following authorisation errors:

    ERROR: errors while content activation occurred
    ERROR: No InfoProvider exists with name
    ERROR: insufficient privilege: Not authorized
    ERROR: Error 258 has occurred in the BWA/SAP HANA server

  • You run a HANA authorization trace as per SAP Note 1809199 and this reveals that the user running the job needs additional privileges, i.e. system privilege SCENARIO ADMIN and object privilege EXECUTE on SYS.REPOSITORY_REST.
