2888148 - How to Activate Avalara or Vertex

You want to activate Avalara or Vertex to provide tax determination services in the system.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center.
2. Select the Implementation Projects view.
3. Select the First Implementation.
4. Click on Edit Project Scope button.
5. Navigate to the 4th step (Questions).
6. Expand Built-in Services and Support.
7. Expand Business Environment.
8. Select Tax Calculation.
9. Here you have the option to activate one of the following:

• Do you want to use the services provided by Vertex to determine tax rates for US?
• Do you want to use the services provided by Avalara to determine tax rates for US?
