Symptom
- On SAP NetWeaver systems, the SAP ASE upgrade on Windows using saphostctrl fails with error like:
Error: Command execution failed. : Failed to execute: "F:\sybase\DBpatches\setupConsole.exe" -f "F:\sybase\JPD\sapdbctrl-config\dbsrvresp_update.txt" -i silent
-DUSER_INSTALL_DIR="F:\sybase\JPD" -DDO_UPDATE_INSTALL=false. (fault code: 127)
- Corresponding /usr/sap/hostctrl/work/dev_sapdbctrl log file shows:
