2888316 - Invalid credentials error message for LinkedIn - Recruiting Posting

I have available LinkedIn slots but when I want to select the job board, I have the error message "The job board sends the feedback that your credentials are no longer valid. Contact your system administrator to correct the invalid credentials to remove the error."

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting

1. Access SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Posting.
2. Attempt to post a job requisition to LinkedIn with valid credentials.
3. Encounter the error message: "The job board sends the feedback that your credentials are no longer valid."

There may be several root causes:

Incorrect Job Board Configuration: The job board configuration is incorrect or outdated.

Temporary Connection Issue: There may be a temporary technical issue with the connection to LinkedIn.

Unrecognized Poster Email: The email address of the user is not recognized by LinkedIn, meaning no license is associated with the email, and as no default poster is defined, jobs are failing.

Address Temporary Connection Issues:

1. Confirm all configuration fields are correctly filled and Recruiting Posting is authorized as a partner.
2. If confirmed, raise a Launchpad ticket and request resending the job. If the issue persists, share posting logs with LinkedIn for further diagnosis. Refer to SAP Knowledge Base Article 3276360 for steps on sharing logs.

Verify Job Board Configuration:

1. Review and update your job board configuration (credentials) by navigating to Manage Recruiting Posting > My Job boards > Select LinkedIn > Correct the configuration
2. Remove any errors by following the instructions in SAP Knowledge Base Article 3303668.

Ensuring Correct Poster Email:

Reach out to LinkedIn with the specific error message and verify if the email used is correct and associated with a valid license. We can have three scenarious:

1. Configuration "Send the real contact mail" is not checked, and nothing is filled in "LinkedIn Profile Email" field: No email is transmitted, and the job links with a default poster. If no default poster, the job is rejected.
2. Configuration "Send the real contact mail" is checked: The email address from the posting values (from posting profile or user) is transmitted. If matched on LinkedIn, the correct poster is associated. Otherwise, the job links with the default poster. If no default poster, the job is rejected.
3. Configuration "LinkedIn Profile Email" is populated: This email address is transmitted. If matched on LinkedIn, the correct poster is associated. Otherwise, the job links with the default poster. If no default poster, the job is rejected
4. Update LinkedIn Recruiter Dashboard to ensure a default poster is selected.
