2888370 - Can you Change the Length of the Comment Field for a Manual Adjustment?

Symptom

  • Is it possible to change the length of the comment field for a Manual Adjustment?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time-Off

Cause

  • The field length for a comment on a Time Account Detail (like a Manual Adjustment) is set fix to 255 characters. This cannot be changed. A custom field cannot be used as it will not show on the Manual Adjustment screen.

Resolution

  • If you would like to have this feature introduced, you can submit an enhancement request in Idea Exchange which may be considered as a future enhancement and let the community know that you are one of the accounts that is requesting this kind of functionality.
