2888725 - ICM crashes after "invalid new-line in HTTP header"

Symptom

A system SYSTEM_CORE_DUMPED happens and it is confirmed that the ICM (internet communication manager) process crashed. At ICM trace file "dev_icm", the following errors & C-stack are written before the crash:
