How to modify brands in Career Site Builder.

The only option available under the Update Brand feature under Tools / Brand Management/ Edit Brand (Pencil) is to edit the brand Name

If the brand really needs to be changed then the only option at present is to create a new brand and delete the original brand.

Important note : Before the original brand is deleted, one must ensure all the pages using this brand have been duplicated (Page Options (cog) /Duplicate page) and edited to use the newly created brand instead.

Once this is done, all original pages can be deactivated/deleted then the original brand deleted.

• Note “Name” is the label used to identify the brand in the Career Site Builder admin.
  The brand name must match the brand field values that will be created on the job requisition in order for the job to appear on the brand. 
  
  
• “URL Brand Identifier” is public facing and is included in each URL that has a corresponding brand. It is not possible to edit the “URL Brand Identifier” once it is created. 
  When doing a search on the homepage of the Brand, the URL Brand Identifier will show as the "Company Name" (e.g Home at | Articletest). If the URL brand Identifier is set as all lower case, the first character will always show as upper case (e.g even if the URL brand identifier is configured as articletest, on the brand homepage when doing search, it will show as Home at | Articletest). 
  
  
• “Microsite Id” is to be populated when a corresponding RCM microsite has been created. The Microsite Id must match the field generated by RCM.

• “Name” can be edited so it is different than the “URL Brand Identifier”.

Guidelines for Brand creation:
The recommended characters to use are : letters in lower case (a-z) , letters in uppercase (A-Z) , numbers (0-9) hyphen (-) and underscore (_)

WARNING:
Most special characters will not work
Spaces are not supported
Also note that as a best practice, using ALL CAPS should be avoided as consecutive capital letters could interfere with category and job delivery rules by triggering unwanted operators such as "AND" "OR" "NOT".
