Symptom

  • The following error occurs after running Data Services job which is reading data from MS SQL database datastore:

    SQL submitted to ODBC data source <<server name>,11221> resulted in error <[Microsoft][ODBC Driver 17 for SQL
    Server][SQL Server]Error converting data type varchar to numeric.>. The SQL submitted is <<SELECT statement with global variable(s) included>>.

  • The WHERE clause contains global variable(s) with NULL value.
