2889192 - Approval Task Is Not Sent To The Approver of The Project

• As an employee, you cancelled a time recording for a project. 
• As an approver, this approval task is not sent to you.

SAP Business By Design

1. Log in as approver
2. Go to Project Management work center
3. Click on Approvals view
4. Note: Approval task is not listed.

The reason why the approval task is not sent is that the cancellation is not released.

• Before releasing the cancelled time recording, the status is Pending Cancellation. The approval task is not sent to Project Management work center > Approvals view. 
• After releasing the cancelled time recording, the status changes to Cancellation in Approval. The approval task is sent to Project Management work center > Approvals view. 

1. Log in as employee
2. Go to Self-Service Overview
3. Click on Edit Time Sheet
4. Select the cancelled time recording
5. Click on Release
