Are job alert email notifications sent to inactive users?
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management (RCM)
Reproducing the Issue
Prerequisites:
- RCM job alerts only > job alerts are sent by RCM
- Recruiting Marketing is not enabled in Provisioning
- Job alerts are correctly configured: "Enable Job Alerts for Candidates" is enabled in Provisioning > Company Settings
- The job alerts are configured and enabled in Recruiting Email Triggers (Job Alert Expired Notification, Job Alert Invalidated Notification, Job Alert Notification)
- The quartz job "Candidate Job Alerts" is submitted and the quartz job owner is active
- User is made inactive via user data file:
- Admin Center > Employee Export
- Export the user file
- Manually set the status of the user as inactive and save the file
- Admin Center > Employee Delta Import
- Import the saved file
Resolution
When a user has saved RCM job alerts and is then manually made inactive in the system, no job alert email notifications are sent to the user.
In case the inactive user still receives job alert email notifications, please submit an case to Cloud Product Support.
