Symptom

  • ./svrcfg -TSTART
    Checking for existence of AL_JobService...
    Starting AL_JobService. This may take several seconds.
    Please Wait!!!
    terminate called after throwing an instance of 'char const*'

    JSERVICE: Attempting to Start JobServer(s)..
    JSERVICE: Found 2 JobServer(s) configured.
    JSERVICE: Using checkJobServer Version <1>
    JSERVICE: INFO: JobServer DEVDS_JOBSERVER on Port ANY:3500 is up and running.
    JSERVICE: INFO: JobServer DEVDS_ADAPTERS on Port ANY:3501 is up and running.
    JSERVICE: Attempting to Start AccessServer(s)..
    JSERVICE: Found 0 AccessServer(s) configured.
    JSERVICE: Successfully started AL_JobService

  • The above symptoms with successfully started AL_JobService still shows the Data Services job service still not running
