Symptom

What is the purpose of feature "Use downloadable fonts" on Theme Manager?

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Resolution

This option to "Use downloadable fonts" (custom web fonts) only affects the new Homepage Tiles.

The fonts are Proxima Condensed and Proxima Semi Condensed Bold.
There is opt out option in the theming control panel, but the default is set to “Use downloadable fonts.”

Steps to get there:

  1. Admin Center > Theme Manager
  2. Select the theme you are using
  3. On the left-hand side menu "edit theme" under the menu for "quick theme"
  4. There is an option here called "Use downloadable fonts" with 2 options - "Yes" and "No":
    • If "Yes" is selected then the font used will be "Proxima Condensed"
    • If "No" is selected then the font used will be "Proxima Semi Condensed Bold"
