2889944 - BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE accepts only numerical work center (WORK_CTR)

Symptom

  • BAPI BAPI_QUALNOT_CREATE does not allow entering work centers into field NOTIFHEADER-WORK_CTR, which was created using not only numerical characters (transactions CR01, CRQ1). It says 'Correct Errors in Input Value': Invalid value for field WORK_CTR. Enter a valid value.

  • In case of mapping values from ME (SAP Manufacturing Execution), following message is observed:
    UserEvent : QualityNotificationBAPIHandler.LogCreateBAPIResponse: The BAPI response is:Value 'TEST0001' cannot be converted to NUM type at field WORK_CTR.
