2889977 - Error appears while approving Count Physical Inventory Item

You are tryiing to approve Count Line item Id XX , Status of the Line item id  is "Counted", Error appears

Product ID DEF serial number KLM cannot be received; issued to cost center 

*XX refers to Count Line item Id, DEF refers to Product Id, KLM refers to Serial Number id

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Navigate to Physical Inventory Work Center
2. Go to By PI Count Item View
3. In Counted PI items Search for XX
4. Select on Approve Count 
5. Error appears

As Serial Number KLM Tagged Inventory Status shows as  "Issued to Cost Center" , you would not be able make use of this serial Number, To know how to check the Tagged Inventory Status of Serial Number, Follow the below steps

1. Navigate to Service Entitelements Work Center
2. Go to Registered Products View
3. Search for  KLM
4. Navigate to General Tab (If Tagged Inventory Status not visible,you can personalize the screen and add this field)

As Serial Number KLM is issued to Cost Center, Kindly make use of those some other serial numbers which are In Stock.
