2890296 - ERROR #31083 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) Cannot connect to RSSD server - SRS

• Unable to start Replication Server
• If ocs.cfg present in $SYBASE/$SYBASE_OCS/config with no Repserver section, the following errors occur in SRS log:
  
  

• ERROR #31083 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - eneric/cfg/cfginit.c(3903) Cannot connect to RSSD server. ct_connect failed.

• ERROR #1027 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - eneric/cfg/cfginit.c(3903) Open Client Client-Library error: Error: 16843199, Severity 1 -- 'ct_connect(): user api layer: external error: The connection failed because of invalid or missing external configuration data.'.

• INTERNAL ERROR #1029 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - eneric/cfg/cfginit.c(3903) CS-Library error: Error: 17040903, Severity 6 -- 'comn_get_cfg: user api layer: internal common library error: Configuration section RepServer not found.'.

• FATAL ERROR #18028 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - /servmain/servmain.c(334) Initialization failed. Server is shutting down.

• If ocs.cfg present in $SYBASE/$SYBASE_OCS/config with RepServer section declared without any fields, the following errors occur in SRS log:
  
  

• ERROR #13114 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - /generic/useful/cm.c(502) Failed to allocate an environment structure for a Connector. See Connector error message for more information.

• No Sybase library information is available.

• FATAL ERROR #18028 GLOBAL RS(GLOBAL RS) - /servmain/servmain.c(1866) Initialization failed. Server is shutting down.

• Exiting due to a fatal error.
