2890764 - Password is required to edit a output PDF document

Symptom

After downloading the PDF document for an output item, when trying to edit it in Adobe PDF editor, a password is required.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Output Management

Cause

For legal reasons the PDF are protected against changes with a one-time generated password (which is also not know to SAP).

Resolution

It's standard design that the downloaded PDF cannot be edited.
