Resolution
To enable this feature for a Compensation Worksheet, you can enable the setting within the Compensation Template or in Company Logo and System Settings.
Enable Forward Propagation in Compensation Template
- Action Search: Compensation Home
- Select your EC-integrated template
- Click on Plan Setup > Settings > Advanced Settings
- Check box for Enable forward propagation when publishing from Compensation to Employee Central > Update Form Template
NOTE: Enabling this feature will also enable the forward propagation setting under Admin Center > Company Settings > Company Logo and System Settings
Enable Forward Propagation in Company System & Logo Settings
- Action Search: Company System & Logo Settings
- Check the box for Enable Forward Propagation for Compensation Information (Note: Not applicable for Imports, not applicable for features where Centralized Services are enabled)
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save Company System Setting
FAQ
Q) Does this also mean Recurring Pay Component data is considered by Forward Propagation?
A) Yes, but only via Insert New Record. See Managing Mass Changes in Employee Central -Forward Propagation of Data with Imports
Q) Is this supported when performing Compensation/Recurring Pay Component data imports or API's?
A) Yes. You will need to enable an additional permission through Manage Permission Roles: Administrator Permissions > Employee Central Import Settings > Check box for Enable Forward Propagation during Incremental Import.
