Symptom
A Job Requisition has a status of closed but does not show as Closed in the Recruiting Dashboard
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the Recruiting Dashboard
- Select the "Closed Job Requisitions"
- A Job Requisition with the status Closed doesn't appear in the list
Cause
AIn Recruiting, there are 2 statuses on a Job Requisition - Status (Open/On Hold/Filled/Cancelled) and Requisition Status/State (Pre-approved, Approved, and Closed).
A Job's "Requisition Status" can be Pre-Approved, Approved or Closed. Requisition Statuses are non-configurable and display the current Requisition Status of the Requisition. When using the Job Requisition Filter, showing all Open requisitions with this filter will display Job Requisitions that are in the Pre-Approved and Approved states (i.e. not Closed).
A Job Requisition's "Status" however offers greaters flexibility for customers and can be used to display several statuses for further detail (e.g. On Hold, Approved). These statuses are configurable in a customer instance through the Picklist. Showing Open with this filter will only show Job Requisitions with the "Status" Open. This is why there is a disparity between both views. Using the "Filter Options" to show all Job Requisitions with a "Status" of "Open" here will only display Jobs that have a status of Open.
Resolution
The Job Requisition Dashboard filter works on "Requisition Status" and cannot be configured.
