2891906 - Error Occurred during SSLHandshake in CPI OData V4 Adapter

Symptom

You want to connect to a third-party OData V4 service from the OData V4 adapter in Cloud Integration. You find the following error on running the integration flow.

com.sap.gateway.core.ip.component.exception.ODataProcessingException: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target, cause: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target.
