2892697 - When candidate applies using Quick Apply an application error happens - Recruiting Management

When a candidate applies to a Job Requisition with Quick Apply feature enabled, an application error happens with the following fingerprint: bc8e57e0256b45d389959559f9151d6062bc31e9

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Scenario 1:

1. As a candidate, open a Job Requisition that has Quick Apply enabled;
2. Fill out the fields and attempt to apply;
3. Error happens;

Scenario 2:

1. As a candidate, open a Job Requisition that has Quick Apply enabled;
2. Fill out the fields, and while filling it an application error appears.

This is because the application has Rules configured and associated to it.

Using rules in application templates that are being currently used for Quick Apply job requistions is something not supported.

To resolve this error you have two options:

1. Disable the rule associated to a field in OnChange event or to OnSave event on Manage Recruiting Rules;
2. If the rules are something required on the application for your business scenario, you might need to have another template for it, and for that subsequently you will need another Job Requisition template. To have this correctly configured it is better to have a partner reviewing the configuration so there are no loose ends.
